The Box Shop ships packages using both FedEx Ground and FedEx AIR.  We have a daily pickup for both air and ground packages.  FedEx has a maximum weight limit of 150 pounds and a maximum size limit of 165 inches length and girth.

Length and girth is measured by:

        Length + Width + Width + Height + Height = Length and Girth.

FEDEX GROUND and AIR  packages are charged a dimensional weight  if the weight of a box does not meet a minimum weight based on the following formula:

        (LENGTH x WEIGHT x HEIGHT) DIVIDED BY 194 = SHIPPING WEIGHT CHARGED

        Example.  A box 20 x 12 x 12 that weighs 4 pounds would ship at 15 pounds

                                       20 x 12 x 12 = 2,880  Divided by 194 = 14.84536 which rounds up 

                                        to 15 pounds.
